Realworld gains international attention with participation in Singapore Demo Day and overseas VC visits

Hello, this is Realworld. While many people are still unfamiliar with Realworld, Realworld members have a dream. It's a grand vision to globally expand the fun of playable content. They say dreams belong to those who dare to dream them, and Realworld is taking another step closer to achieving this goal.

UniqueGood Company (the operating company of Realworld) participated in the 'Korea Tourism Startup Center (KTSC) Demo Day' held in Singapore on June 26th. This event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, was designed to help Korean travel tech companies establish business strategies for entering Singapore's tourism industry and increase investment opportunities. Nine domestic tourism startups and approximately 50 local investment firms participated.

UniqueGood Company successfully completed its pitch for overseas investment, attracting attention from numerous investors. Among them, the company held individual meetings with five firms including Tan Phi, Peak XV, and Qualgro to explore new business opportunities and build local networks. The investors showed particular interest in UniqueGood Company's location-based content business and asked many questions about revenue scale and break-even point achievement timelines.

These meetings with investors didn't end as one-time events, and ongoing communication and follow-up processes are currently underway. Notably, on July 17th, 10 overseas VCs and 4 representatives from the Korea Tourism Organization visited Realworld Seongsu directly. The overseas VCs who had shown interest in Realworld through pitches and meetings experienced the potential of this new business by actually playing Realworld Seongsu's content.

I had a preconception that VCs might be stiff and boring people, but they were all full of energy and played actively. While immersed in playing, they didn't miss sharp analysis of Realworld Seongsu. Looking at interior elements like the receipt photo booth, they accurately identified that 'the core target here is couples and young people.'

Even after playing, the VCs' questions continued as they found it to be a very interesting business model. Moreover, we could see their great interest in Realworld as they engaged in discussions among themselves about Realworld's business potential. According to reports, their discussion was so heated that a deputy director from the Korea Tourism Organization had to intervene to calm things down.

Now, Realworld is beginning to attract attention overseas as well. Please look forward to Realworld's journey to go global with K-content, following in the footsteps of KPOP.
