Hello. This is the Realworld Experience Trend Letter. As everyone knows, June is the month of national patriotism and veterans' affairs. The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs set the theme for June 2024 as 'Living Patriots' Affairs in Daily Life, Patriots' Affairs for Everyone' with three strategic directions: <Memory and Gratitude>, <Spreading Patriots' Culture>, and <Passing on to Future Generations>. As part of this initiative, the first-ever 'Korea Memorial Festa' was held at Seoul Olympic Park this year. The event was a great success with 250,000 participants enjoying various attractions including K-POP performances, diverse food options, and experience booths.

Although June has passed, the meaning of patriots' affairs should always be with us in our daily lives. Realworld is also reflecting on the significance of national patriotism and veterans' affairs in its own unique way. We introduce 'National Treasure: Search for Heroes,' a game that helps us rediscover the meaning of patriots' affairs while finding hidden treasures.

What is 'National Treasure: Search for Heroes'?

'National Treasure: Search for Heroes' is a treasure hunt event organized by Realworld in collaboration with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, taking place across all regions of South Korea from June 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024.

Realworld successfully planned and operated the 'Real Treasure Festival' with Gyeonggi Province in November 2023, which was the world's largest treasure hunt event. This event, with 3,040 participants, was registered in the Guinness World Records. Now, Realworld, with its expertise in treasure hunt solutions, has returned with a nationwide treasure hunt.

Participants become treasure hunters who uncover secrets through a notebook left by their grandfather. The process of finding treasures, from those near their residence to treasures across all regions of South Korea, can be conducted through the Realworld app. With the integration of cutting-edge immersive technologies such as augmented reality and NFC, it offers differentiated fun from traditional analog treasure hunts, and the found treasures can later be converted into various attractive rewards.

Upon arriving at patriotic sites, you can discover NFC tags hidden throughout the locations as shown in the photos. Scanning these NFC tags reveals patriots' affairs-related quizzes, and you must answer these questions correctly to obtain treasures. Since the questions are mainly related to the specific locations, the missions are designed so they cannot be completed without actually visiting the sites.

Treasures are hidden in a total of 48 major patriotic sites across 17 regions nationwide. UniqueGood members personally traveled across the country to install the treasures, hoping that participants would visit patriotic sites they hadn't paid attention to before, find treasures, and reflect on the meaning of patriots' affairs.

'National Treasure: Search for Heroes' began on June 1st, and now approximately one month into its operation period, how many people have participated? The event continues its success with an impressive record of about 25,000 participants so far. Moreover, participants who have visited all 48 patriotic sites nationwide and found 240 treasures are already emerging, demonstrating the enthusiasm for the event.

Additionally, a ranking system is applied where rankings increase based on the number of treasures found. The top 10 participants each month receive gift certificates, and rankings reset monthly, which is expected to intensify competition among many participants.

Integrating Patriots' Affairs into Our Daily Lives

'National Treasure: Search for Heroes' successfully combines the seemingly disparate elements of patriots' affairs and treasure hunting. As patriotic sites that previously felt somewhat solemn now serve as backgrounds for treasure hunt events, they are transforming into places that feel more familiar and frequently visited by citizens. This creates a win-win effect of enjoying fun games while reflecting on the meaning of patriots' affairs.

While commemorating the month of national patriotism and veterans' affairs is important, isn't it equally important for patriots' affairs to naturally permeate our daily lives and naturally develop patriotic consciousness? We hope that 'National Treasure: Search for Heroes' can provide even a small contribution to such efforts, and with that, we conclude this Experience Trend Letter.
