It's World Environment Day! This day was established in 1972 at the UN Conference on the Human Environment, when the international community pledged to work together for global environmental conservation.
In celebration of World Environment Day,

💜 Realworld Seongsu 💜, I'll show you how I'm personally recycling the reusable cups they provide!!

I've already reused them dozens of times as water cups in the office, but today, in celebration of 🌎World Environment Day🌎, I'm going to try some special recycling!

That's right!
Making planters with reusable cups!! 🪴🪴🪴
As a beginner plant parent who has never properly grown plants before, I headed straight to Daiso! Daiso has everything... hehe 😎
At Daiso, I bought what was clearly a plant growing kit for beginners!
The first seeds this novice plant parent bought were
🍅🍅🍅 cherry tomatoes..! 🍅🍅🍅
I just... picked them randomly.. because tomatoes are cute..?!?
(Actually... I want to grow them to eat...!!)
I planted 9 cherry tomato 🍅 seeds in the growing soil that came in the package and gave them plenty of water!
Grow big and strong!!
I'll repot you into pretty reusable cups soon!!
I wonder how many seeds will survive? 🧐
After planting the seeds and staring at nothing but dirt every single day while just watering it..
Four days after planting the seeds!!!
I started to see 🌱🌱🌱sprouts🌱🌱🌱 emerging from the soil!!
Can you see them!!

One little guy had successfully sprouted and was poking its head out ㅠㅠ
Already so cute ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
And then
Just 5 days after planting the seeds!!
The cherry tomato cotyledons successfully sprouted and grew pop🌱pop🌱pop🌱!
The sprouts are so incredibly cute ㅠㅠ
I moved the little ones that started sprouting to a sunny windowsill.
And so,
looking forward to repotting,

True leaves started appearing between the cotyledons!!

Finally, the sprouts have grown so much that it seemed like a good day for repotting!!
(Actually, I don't know exactly when to repot, so this is just a beginner's guess.. 😙😙)
Excluding the cups I'll continue using as cups, I gathered all the extra Realworld Seongsu reusable cups lying around the office and cleaned them thoroughly!
I drilled drainage holes in the clean reusable cups!
🚨🚨I used an electric soldering iron to make the holes, which is somewhat dangerous work, so you must be very, very careful when doing this!! 🚨🚨
I placed mesh for planters at the bottom of the reusable cups with carefully drilled holes and added an appropriate amount of gravel and growing soil.
And when I carefully transplanted the sprouts into their new planters!!
I successfully completed repotting a total of seven sprouts 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 into 6 planters, including one I gave away to someone!!
After repotting, despite my worries about whether they might die,

On June 5th, World Environment Day itself,
our cherry tomato family...!
Are growing so healthy and strong like this!!
The planters made using Realworld Seongsu reusable cups are so pretty, and the cherry tomato sprouts are so cute, right?
As someone who used to kill even succulents... a plant killer turned beginner plant parent, making planters myself and growing plants from seeds has been so much fun!
