Hello! We are Realworld, a playable content platform. It has been 8 months since Korea's first murder mystery cafe, 'Realworld Clue,' opened its doors. When we first opened 'Realworld Clue Seongsu,' we had doubts about whether it would succeed, but those concerns have proven unfounded as we've received tremendous love from many visitors. Since opening in February 2024, we've maintained an average reservation rate of 80%, establishing ourselves as a new entertainment destination in Seongsu.
However, since our first store 'Realworld Clue Seongsu' was more of a temporary location for market testing, its relatively small space was often cited as a drawback. We frequently received feedback like 'It's hard to make reservations because there aren't enough rooms' and 'The noise from adjacent rooms is distracting.' So Realworld made a bold decision: to expand and relocate from Seongsu to Konkuk University area.
On October 18, 2024, we're excited to introduce the newly opened 'Realworld Clue Konkuk University.' Like our existing Seongsu location, the Konkuk University branch is an optimized offline space for enjoying murder mysteries. You can enjoy multi-player detective games privately without staff intervention, and we provide physical cards and theme-specific costumes for a more immersive playing experience.
Location-wise, it's within a 3-minute walk from Konkuk University Station on Subway Line 2, offering excellent accessibility for easy visits. The space is much larger than the existing Realworld Seongsu location at approximately 100 pyeong (3,300 sq ft), featuring over 10 individual rooms and introducing a new Murder Village themed open-world space that combines elements of board game and escape room cafes.
In particular, this Murder Village theme is Realworld Clue's signature model, a new format where participants directly explore open spaces to collect clues. While the existing Realworld Clue was a board game format where players sit at tables and reveal cards, the Murder Village theme offers a more active and realistic experience. This Murder Village theme is scheduled to open at the end of November.
Along with the 5 existing content offerings from 'Realworld Clue Seongsu' - 'Colonel Yoon's Murder Case,' 'Hide and Seek,' 'Idol Audition Murder Case,' 'Ada,' and 'Past X and Future X Meet the Same Time XX' - we're also introducing new content 'Magistrate Byeon's Murder Case' with the opening. This is great news for murder mystery fans who have been waiting for new themes.
The newly released Joseon Dynasty-themed 'Magistrate Byeon's Murder Case' features fun elements like different speech patterns depending on the character's social status, allowing you to immerse yourself in role-playing with friends and partners. You can make it even more enjoyable by applying additional rules like 'no foreign words allowed.'
And here's important news: 'Realworld Clue Konkuk University' is running a grand opening event offering 50% discounts on all content. This event runs for just 2 weeks, from Friday, October 18, 2024, to Sunday, October 27, so murder mystery fans shouldn't miss out.
