Hello. This is Realworld.
2023 is already coming to an end.
Many HRD managers are probably wondering
how to structure next year's training programs, right?
Looking for something new that's not just
a lecture where the instructor talks alone,
or training that only focuses on fun?
Today, we'd like to introduce
the core values internalization training
for new employees that Realworld conducted with LG Chem.
'Wait, Realworld does corporate training too?'
'Isn't it just fun with no real effectiveness?'
If you're thinking this,
please pay attention to this case study!
Realworld's 'LG Chem Treasure' program
conducted at the LG Chem Leadership Center.
Curious about what it is?
The training manager's goal was
for new employees joining LG Chem
to internalize the company's history and core values.
There must be a reason why they contacted
Realworld instead of other companies, right?
They also hoped that the new employees,
who are part of the MZ generation,
would enjoy it and have fun.
As they wished, we provided
a value internalization program
that goes beyond the classroom
for hands-on, experiential learning.
'LG Chem Treasure' begins with the concept
that the treasure of Chairman Koo In-hwoi,
the first chairman of LG Group,
is hidden somewhere in this training center.
Participants must explore every corner
of the training center to find that treasure.
It's like a modern-day 'Indiana Jones' -
will the LG Chem new employees be able to find the treasure?
Various props installed throughout the training center
contain clues leading to the chairman's treasure.
The MZ generation new employees, familiar with
experiential programs like pop-up stores and escape rooms,
naturally immersed themselves
and proceeded through the program.
So is it just fun?
No!
The message is more important than the fun.
In the case of 'LG Chem Treasure',
by utilizing various company-related materials
such as Chairman Koo In-hwoi's statue and LG Chem publications,
we also achieved the inherent value of educational programs.
Participants simply enjoyed it like a game,
but naturally absorbed
the company's history and core values.
And we could also see
team members cooperating with each other
to move forward while competing with other teams.
Thanks to Realworld's unique content design
that requires collaboration,
friendships among peers also deepened.
At the final stage of the journey,
what could the message discovered
in front of the chairman's statue be!
Realworld's experiential education
that satisfies both HRD managers and participants!
