Realworld's Real Treasure was held from December 19-31, 2023 at the Busan National Science Museum's special exhibition 'Future Mobility'!
Approximately 3,000 visitors participated in the treasure hunt at the Busan National Science Museum!
The 'Future Mobility' special exhibition runs from October 2023 to March 2024, but we held a treasure hunt as a special 2-week limited event to celebrate the end of 2023.
It was called
'Treasure Hunt in Mobility!'
How do you conduct a treasure hunt in an exhibition hall?
We placed treasure stickers throughout the exhibition hall - near exhibit descriptions, in hidden spots near exhibits, on the hands of exhibition guides, and so on!
Visitors could find treasures everywhere and scan them through the Realworld app, bringing the treasures right into their phones.
Once they collected a certain number of treasures, they could participate in a lottery with a 100% win rate to receive gifts!
We prepared generous prizes including Busan National Science Museum merchandise, book vouchers, chicken, cafe, and convenience store gift cards, which caught the attention of passing visitors.
Many visitors were intrigued, saying 'You get gifts for collecting treasures?!'
We could see many people who came to see the Future Mobility exhibition - whether for children's experiences, youth experiences, or family experiences - immediately downloading the app and walking around!
You might wonder, 'What does a science exhibition have to do with treasure hunting?'
This solution has the advantage of making visitors stay longer!
Since all treasures are placed in locations related to the exhibits, visitors naturally look around to find treasures, which also increases their time spent at the science museum.
Especially for family visitors who came for children's experiences!
Usually kids go 'Wow!' and get excited, but then they say 'Mom, let's go home now~' and start whining, right?
We could see them enjoying not only the interesting exhibition experiences but also the treasure hunt, going around the exhibition hall several times.
