Hello, this is Realworld. Today, we'd like to introduce you to a very special guest at Realworld - the KPOP group Dreamcatcher. To commemorate the release of Dreamcatcher's tenth mini-album 'VirtuouS', we conducted a special promotion with Realworld, unveiling two games that utilize Dreamcatcher's universe.
These two games consist of the online content 'Parallel World Survival Test' and the offline content 'VersuS'. Let me introduce each one to you.
Save your friends with 'Goo-il' from the parallel world: 'VersuS'
Dreamcatcher has appeared at Realworld Seongsu. The members are enjoying an escape room game as they move around various areas of Realworld Seongsu. What is this game? It's 'VersuS', a game specially designed for Dreamcatcher.
'VersuS' is an escape room game based on the universe of Dreamcatcher's 'VersuS' duology. Unlike traditional escape room games, this one progresses the story using the Realworld app, featuring content where you work together with 'Goo-il' who lives in a parallel world to save each other's friends. A global version is also provided so international fans can immerse themselves in Dreamcatcher's universe.
In particular, until July 25th, there's an ongoing event where you can receive a random unreleased photocard by showing the game completion screen and game ticket to Realworld staff. To participate in this first-come, first-served event, fans formed long lines even before the Realworld Seongsu store opened, showing their passionate interest in Dreamcatcher.
What's my survival probability? : 'Parallel World Survival Test'
Earlier, on June 26th, the 'Parallel World Survival Test' was released. This online content consists of a test that moves through four worlds - 'Nightmare, Dystopia, Apocalypse, VersuS' - and determines your possibility of survival within them. Various images and symbols that only Dreamcatcher fans would notice are hidden throughout like Easter eggs, stimulating fan devotion.
The 'Parallel World Survival Test' was also created in both a domestic version and an English global version. With the global version receiving three times as many plays as the domestic version, we could truly feel Dreamcatcher's popularity as a 'global idol group'. Posts from domestic and international fans sharing their test results on X (formerly Twitter) continuously heightened interest in the 'VirtuouS' album.
