Hello, this is Realworld, a playable content platform. What images come to mind when you think of Busan? You probably think of Korea's largest port city, the home of baseball, beautiful beaches like Haeundae and Gwangalli. And there's one thing we can't leave out - movies.
Busan, where the Busan International Film Festival is held every year, is truly a city of cinema. In 2024, the 29th Busan International Film Festival will run from October 2nd to October 11th. At the time of writing this post, we're approaching the closing ceremony. Don't be disappointed that the festival is coming to an end! Realworld has come to Busan Cinema Center so you can enjoy movies in a playable way, with two types of content: 'Movie Treasure' and 'Soul of Cinema'!
Finding My Emotions: 'Movie Treasure', 'Soul of Cinema'
Since this content takes place at the Cinema Center, Realworld has prepared key visual images like movie posters. It's adorable to see Realworld's mascot Dagu transformed into protagonists from various movies. First, let me introduce the treasure hunt game 'Movie Treasure' using Realworld's treasure hunting solution 'Real Treasure'. The synopsis is as follows:
Have you been feeling emotionally numb lately? Take on the thrilling adventure unfolding at Busan Cinema Center! A journey awaits you to find 'emotion cubes' hidden in movie posters filmed in Busan and reclaim your lost emotions.
A journey to find emotions - it reminds me of the animated movie 'Inside Out'. But what does movies, emotions, and treasure hunting have to do with each other? It's because the process of finding and collecting emotions in movies is like an adventure of discovering treasure. Wouldn't you want to join this journey with the adorable Dagu in various forms?
The treasures (emotion cubes) are hidden throughout the Cinema Center in places like BIFF Hill, Double Cone, Cinemountain, and outdoor spaces. The treasures are related to movie posters filmed in Busan, including Train to Busan, Black Panther, The Attorney, Veteran, Ode to My Father, OK Madam, and The Rain and Your Story. Dagu in the posters becomes the protagonist of each movie, expressing scenes from the films.
How do you find these movie posters in the vast Cinema Center? You can check the treasure locations on the 'Real Treasure' map in the Realworld app, and when you get close, the form of the treasure appears. Once you discover a poster, approach it, tag your smartphone to the NFC, solve a quiz, and you can receive rewards. They say you can participate in a gift draw by finding 5 out of 7 hidden treasures and pressing the reward button.
Busan is also a global city visited by many foreign tourists. That's why we've also prepared English content 'Soul of Cinema'. This content has the same synopsis as 'Movie Treasure', but it's designed so tourists can easily explore the Cinema Center by acquiring emotion cubes along a guided route. With Realworld, you get the double benefit of enjoying games while touring various parts of the Cinema Center.
Upon completing 'Movie Treasure' missions, one random prize will be provided to the first 1,500 people. The gifts will be hamburger or beverage gift certificates, so you should hurry since quantities are limited. Also, when participating in the 'Movie Treasure' satisfaction survey event, generous prizes will be provided through a drawing, so don't miss this opportunity.
Realworld's content 'Movie Treasure' and 'Soul of Cinema' will run for 60 days from October 16, 2024 to December 15, 2024. When you visit Busan, the city of cinema, please enjoy the Cinema Center in a playable way. Thank you.
