[Seongsu Pop-up Store October] Yupdduk Pop-up, Realworld Seongsu and More Experiences Galore! | Realworld Blog

I visited the Yupdduk popup that's been drawing long lines since last week!

It was just a 3-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3.
The location was very accessible being close to Seongsu Station.

Dongdaemun Yupgi Tteokbokki Popup Store

The Yupdduk popup was really satisfying with lots of activities, exclusive tteokbokki you can only eat at the popup, and merchandise you can purchase!

First, I waited in line at the entrance,
and it took about 30 minutes to get in.

Before entering, I recommend downloading the Yupdduk app in advance and adding them as a KakaoTalk friend
to enjoy the experience more comfortably and quickly!

After entering, I could hear a brief history of Yupdduk,
and the story about how it stayed 14,000 won for 14 years was impressive.

I could take photos at the photo zone next to it.

Next, I passed through the red corridor
and moved to a space full of events and missions.

Right after coming out of the corridor, the booth on the right
gave out a bag and welcome kit for SNS verification.

Inside were cute badges and
food recipes using leftover Yupdduk!

Then at "Splash into Yupdduk,"
I threw balls into the goal,
and at "Challenge! Yupdduk Attack," after completing missions
I could do a random prize draw.

Next to it was an impressive red and white
Yupdduk ball pit!

And finally, the long-awaited Yupdduk tasting time!

I tried the Mala Rose Tteokbokki and
Corn Cheese Tteokbokki that you can only eat here,

Personally, the corn cheese tteokbokki was absolutely delicious!!
The mala rose tteokbokki was also tasty, though a bit spicy for someone like me who can't handle spice well!
I think I'd buy the corn cheese tteokbokki right away if it gets released!

It was so spicy that I looked for somewhere to soothe my tongue,
so I visited Realworld Seongsu, which is just a 1-minute walk from the Yupdduk popup.

Hours: Weekdays 09:00-20:00 / Weekends: 11:00-20:00

Currently, Realworld Seongsu has
photo zones where you can feel a scary atmosphere
due to the "Lucky's Nightmare" event.

On the 1st floor, you can take photos with creepy dolls,
and the 2nd floor corridor is also decorated with red lighting and spider web props
to create a horror atmosphere.

First, to soothe the spiciness,
I bought and drank a beverage on the 1st floor.

I had the Blooming Apple Ade,
which is Realworld Seongsu's signature menu item!

It's sweet and takes beautiful photos,
so I highly recommend it when visiting Realworld Seongsu!

I also bought a game on the 1st floor and went to the 2nd floor
to experience an open-style escape room~

Various types of games were prepared,
from 30-minute to 2-hour options.

Until the 31st, due to the "Lucky's Nightmare" event,
they only operate until 17:00,
so please keep that in mind when visiting~!

Besides this, there are many popups in Seongsu in October with various activities!

First, the Marvel Spider-Man 2 popup that runs only until the 29th!
This popup store was created to promote the game
released by PlayStation.

I could take photos at the photo zone,
and got lottery tickets for prizes
after trying the game experience.

I played 2 games and
received patches and a sticker set!

And next to it, there was also
a experience zone where you could try PlayStation games directly!

Since it's only until the 29th,
I recommend visiting quickly!!

So far, I've introduced places worth visiting
if you're going to Seongsu-dong in the 4th week of October.
