Hello~ I'm Dada, a planner at Realworld!
Today I'd like to share insights from our creative team's space inspiration trip.
Realworld has mobile games, but 'games that bring stories to spaces' is also a big part of Realworld's identity!
Currently we're adding stories to existing spaces, but we plan to open Realworld's offline space in the future~
So we went on a space exploration trip to popular cafes to see and learn a lot~!
It was really nice to visit cafes on a weekday afternoon after such a long time... hehe
The places visited by our planners who specialize in bringing stories to spaces were none other than
Forest Outings in Ilsan, an urban botanical garden, and
943 Kings Cross CAFE, a Harry Potter concept cafe!
Urban botanical garden, Forest Outings
Forest Outings was a charming space filled with spacious atmosphere, warm colors, and
lush green plants that purify the soul~
How wonderful it is to enjoy plants while basking in sunlight~?~?
Moreover, each seating area was decorated differently,
making us feel they really made efficient use of the space!
Even corner spaces that could easily be wasted
were transformed into cozy loft-like areas, making us naturally exclaim
that there wasn't a single carelessly designed space...!
Also, listening to the emotional music and flowing water sounds
made the space's charm feel even more enhanced.
Feeling how important 'sound' is in a space,
I thought that when Realworld's space is created, it should definitely be
a space that utilizes all five senses, not just visual elements!
While enjoying delicious bread, coffee, and leisure time,
we earnestly discussed what Realworld could learn from such a wonderful space!
Ideas poured out like outdoor escape rooms that would be emotional and healing to match the space,
and attractive ideas that would make people more immersed in Realworld content
while fully utilizing the characteristics of a 'cafe' space haha
To the magical world, 943 Kings Cross CAFE
The 943 Kings Cross cafe we visited next is famous as a 'Harry Potter concept cafe'.
From the very entrance, our hearts were completely stolen. Because...
From the entrance, we could feel this was a space that was truly serious about its concept~
What greeted us as we entered with excitement was
the first floor that seemed to recreate the world of Harry Potter exactly haha
Even if you're not a Harry Potter fan, 943 Kings Cross cafe was interesting enough to enjoy!
Because the interior, props, BGM, and effects were all fascinating to look at,
it was a space where imagination flourished!haha
For example, they placed portraits on the wall leading to the elevator,
utilizing space that could otherwise be bland while
making you fully immersed in the space's concept~
What if we created Realworld quests using posters and props like these?
Wouldn't that be so much fun!
The planners got really excited looking around at the interesting props~
Even a single footprint on the floor stimulates the imagination
of Realworld planners haha
There were ideas about creating quests using unique elements like glow-in-the-dark features
since the space had low lighting,
or practical suggestions about using display technology
to make the space more diverse~
The excited planners really felt like they had entered the world of Harry Potter,
having butterbeer while
earnestly sharing what they felt about the space~!
As each floor had distinct concepts, we discussed how we could utilize such spatial elements in content,
how we could transfer Realworld's worldview into space,
how we could add content that makes people want to revisit a single space, and other
useful ideas were exchanged,
making the space feel even more interesting haha
As expected, visiting new spaces
brought out new ideas!
Going on this insight trip with the creative and imaginative creative team planners
also played a part, right?!
We plan to continue seeing and experiencing many things
to create Realworld content that provides completely new experiences in spaces~
Please look forward to the space that Realworld,
which enables new experiences of spaces, will open in the future!
