Hello, today we've prepared
highlights from the policy forum on sustainable transformation of historical and cultural districts,
along with news about Realworld's latest presentation on innovative trends in historical and cultural educational spaces.

The sustainable historical and cultural district policy transformation forum held at the National Palace Museum of Korea
was a gathering where experts from various fields including academia, business, and the Architecture & Urban Research Institute participated
to engage in practical discussions about how we can make our historical and cultural resources more accessible and engaging to the public.

Particularly, since historical and cultural district projects are closely related not only to regional tourist influx but also to local youth employment,
the discussion expanded broadly from the historical value of national heritage to regional economic revitalization, tourism, visitor attraction, population influx, and youth employment.

Specifically, Realworld addressed
how to help the general public better remember national heritage
and attract people's interest and visits, focusing on regional tourism revitalization and
space innovation stories that can transform historical and cultural spaces into visitor-attracting destinations.

This covered the latest trends in space innovation and domestic and international benchmarking cases,
along with discussions about practical solutions.
Particularly emphasized was the message that the core of historical and cultural district projects should be the intentional assignment of roles that make visitors feel like protagonists in an entertainment show, designed deliberately from the space creation stage within narrative storylines that visitors can directly experience.

The two keywords that Realworld, a playable content platform that transforms entire cities into theme parks, particularly emphasized -
narrative and role - are actually gaming terms.
Every mobile game and PC game we play
without exception has a narrative, or storyline, where the player performs specific roles.

The key point was that to create visitor attraction in spaces and make people want to visit continuously,
these gaming elements of narrative and role must be applied to offline spaces as well!

Haven't you easily lost interest when visiting publicly created spaces?
Sure, they're newly opened with flashy displays, media, and hardware devices that clearly cost a lot of budget,
but there's nothing much to see, you don't want to stay, and you end up passing through that expensive space in 30 seconds or a minute, right?

Regardless of the cultural, historical, and national heritage value that space contains,
you simply don't find it interesting. There's no way such offline spaces that lack appeal even on the first visit will have sustained repeat visits.

That's why Realworld emphasizes even more strongly:
When creating offline spaces, there must absolutely be narratives and roles where visitors perform specific missions,
and hardware should be built accordingly.

We need to break away from the existing approach of creating spaces centered on hardware first and then filling them with content, and from conventional space creation methods,
and instead build hardware spaces with experiential content as the core foundation!

Until the day when more people learn about our nation's heritage and historical culture
through narrative and role, experiencing it through participation rather than just exhibition,
Realworld will continue to promote the value and necessity of playable content!
