Hello! This is Realworld, the playable content platform.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation in 2025,
Gyeonggi Children's Museum
hosted special immersive experience content.

Gyeonggi Children's Museum's
content implementation attempt
incorporated advanced immersive technologies like AR and NFC
despite having only 1-2 months of preparation time!

Let us introduce it to you right now!!

Liberation 80th Anniversary Memorial 'Find the Secret Letters of Taegeuk Corps'

The 'Find the Secret Letters of Taegeuk Corps' content,
planned to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation,
was created based on the actual independence movement organization, Taegeuk Corps.

This meaningful content allows children
to experience the actual activities of Taegeuk Corps,
a student independence movement group,
through the Realworld app as engaging content,
feeling both historical facts and fun
- something that can only be enjoyed
at Gyeonggi Children's Museum!

Children go through 6 mission stages,
finding torn letters one by one,
and when they complete the final code,
they become honorary members of Taegeuk Corps.

This case is noteworthy as it represents
a shift from 'passive exhibitions that children simply read and observe'
to 'exhibitions that children directly play and interact with'
for young audiences.

Through cutting-edge technology experiences via the app
including AR recognition, NFC tags, and QR codes,
children carved the meaning of independence into their hearts
and became immersed not as mere observers
but as explorers within history,

showing positive reactions with feedback that
'children naturally understood historical significance while having fun.'

Case Highlights

Unique Advantages of Realworld

1. Short Production Period

Planning, production, and operation were completed in just 1-2 months.
With rapid execution, we effectively conveyed timely and commemorative themes,
and particularly implemented advanced technologies like AR
in a short timeframe through the Realworld platform.

2. Player-Centered Structure
Museum visitors transformed from passive observers
to active players who directly explore and participate,
turning the space into an enjoyable place
they want to experience again.

'Could we do something like this at our museum too?'

This case provides a clear answer to that question.
Even without large budgets or long preparation periods,
you can create spaces that visitors want to visit,
transforming museums' unique themes (history, artifacts, science, etc.)
into experiential content for visitors.

Museums can become more than just 'spaces to observe' -
they can become stages for direct play.

Gyeonggi Children's Museum, together with Realworld,
experimented with the new possibility
of a 'playable museum'
through this project.

If other museums apply this model,
they could simultaneously achieve
new visitor expansion and educational outcomes
in a short period of time.

Thank you!
