We're sharing a review of Realworld's experiential education program "Find the Boss" that makes all of this possible with diversity and inclusion as its theme.
Diversity and inclusion has emerged as the most important and urgent educational keyword that needs to be internalized by employees, especially in companies where global business is a major part of their operations.
So today's educational review features Hana Tour's interactive workshop "Find the Boss" with diversity and inclusion as its theme.
Realworld's "Find the Boss" is a journey to find the boss of a global IT company by collecting clues about the boss's appearance from 7 different people.
Throughout this game journey, participants naturally recognize their unconscious biases and come to realize the importance of adopting a fair perspective.
Various posters installed in the training venue and immersive technology within the Realworld platform further enhance the educational effectiveness.
It's a perfect participatory diversity and inclusion education where team members use clues they've gathered together to cooperatively draw a composite sketch of the global IT company boss themselves.
The training took place at an education center in Jongro, where Hana Tour ICT headquarters is located, bringing together diverse members of all ages and positions to participate in this experiential diversity and inclusion education.
Diversity and inclusion is indeed an important educational keyword that needs to be internalized by all employees regardless of age or position!
Using smartphones to diligently search for clues and drawing the IT organization boss's composite sketch together with the collected clues.
After the activity, the session wraps up with global case studies related to diversity and inclusion.
The wrap-up session mainly features overseas cases. Unfortunately, in Korea, even when it comes to gender topics, we still primarily focus on limited subjects like sexual harassment.
I hope that good examples of recognizing biases ourselves and adopting fair perspectives will spread widely in Korea as well.
Diversity and inclusion education starts with recognizing gender bias and then acknowledging the unconscious biases embedded in our minds regarding religion, race, and other areas.
Perhaps that's why participants who directly experienced Realworld's "Find the Boss" consistently recognize biases they didn't even know they had, expressing explosive reactions like "Amazing," "Shocking," and "I never thought about this topic."
