A theatrical game where audiences become actors in Shakespeare's works is coming. Playable content platform Realworld (CEOs Song In-hyuk and Lee Eun-young) announced that tickets for <STAGE: MACBETH> will open on February 20th.
<STAGE: MACBETH> features the ability for large groups to enjoy a type of 'mafia game' together offline. However, unlike traditional mafia games where you find the culprit, audiences must spend 120 minutes as 25 unique characters, performing their roles like in a play to complete the story.
<STAGE: MACBETH> is based on 'Macbeth,' one of Shakespeare's four great tragedies. It depicts characters who remember the original story returning to the starting point and strategically acting to crown a new king of their choosing. Therefore, with no fixed plot or ending, audiences will have a new experience each time they play.
Additionally, all 25 participants are provided with dedicated costumes to experience becoming characters in the play. Since it's role-playing, participants can quickly build intimacy even when playing with strangers, and those who become king through strategic play or achieve personal goals will have opportunities to receive special goods.
This game opens on Naver Reservation starting February 20th, 2025, with a first-week limited early bird discount of 10,000 won. The operating period runs from March 6th (Thursday) to March 30th (Sunday) (operating hours: 19:40 - 22:00) at Realworld Seongsu, Realworld's cultural complex.
