Hello everyone~~
I'm Daduri, a content planner at Realworld.
Today I tried playing <Verdandi>, the winner of the Realworld Clue Contest - the glorious game that took 1st place!
Oh wait, hold on!
For those who don't know crime scene theme games
~Quick explanation time~
It's a mystery game where players become suspects in a murder case and find the culprit based on testimonies and evidence.
If the culprit is successfully caught, the players who voted for the culprit win, and if they fail to catch the culprit, the culprit wins.
Since all players must perform and act as suspects, it has elements of role-playing games where each person acts out their assigned role.
The number of players varies by game, but it's typically 4-6 people.
In short, you act out your given role while
finding the culprit among us!
As someone who loves crime scene themes (+escape rooms),
I had really high expectations~
And sure enough, Verdandi didn't disappoint!!

Let's start now!
<Story>
This is Noreung City, South Korea.
Kim Ki-tae, the police chief of Noreung Central Police Station, has died.
What truth lies hidden behind Kim Ki-tae's death?
What truth is really hidden behind Kim Ki-tae's death?
Especially the death of a police chief
is quite intriguing.
I played as Han Jong-su...
...
!!!
A detailed review of the game
would be spoilers due to the nature of the crime scene genre
So.that's.it.
(If you're too curious to hold back, come on over~)
By the way, Verdandi is a 4-player game.
Personally, I think crime scene theme games are much more fun
when played offline in person rather than online!
Our team played for about 2 hours and 30 minutes...
That's quite a long play time.
Sugar breaks in between are essential!
Above all, Verdandi showed
a major difference from other crime scene theme games.
It's not just a simple find-the-culprit game,
but the other suspects determine whether the culprit is really the true perpetrator of this case or not.
So because of this gameplay,
rather than beginners who are just getting into crime scene themes,
I highly recommend this to
experts who really love crime scene themes
and have played quite a lot!
As you approach the game's ending,
as you dig deeper into the truth of the case,
it's a well-made crime scene theme game
that's perfect for feeling spine-tingling thrills.
I personally hope
that many more diverse types of
crime scene themes
will come out in the future...hehe
