Tourism venture company UniqueGood Company won the grand prize at a domestic startup investment competition hosted by Shinhan Financial Group.

On the 7th, UniqueGood Company announced that it won the Track A grand prize (for companies seeking Series A or later investment) at Shinhan Financial Group's startup investment competition 'Shinhan Square Bridge Hero IR-Day.'

This competition, now in its second year, is a global startup event where Shinhan Financial Group honors companies with high technological capabilities, innovation, and social value among 230 representative domestic startups selected through Shinhan Square Bridge, providing investment opportunities and networking. This year, the recruitment scope was expanded to include metaverse, mobility, eco-friendly startups, and external startups creating ESG value.

UniqueGood Company, which won the grand prize this year, is a startup operating 'Realworld,' an augmented reality metaverse content platform. Realworld is a creator-based interactive solution platform that enables users to directly experience exciting stories in real spaces. Interactive content refers to content where the story flow changes based on player (user) choices, characterized by superior immersion and satisfaction compared to text or video. Additionally, Realworld's unique feature is providing realistic virtual reality by supporting various immersive technology functions such as using augmented reality (AR) to project hidden secrets in spaces, finding paths with GPS, and conversing with story characters through phone calls or chatbots.
